Q: I'm getting an error on KurtSPC startup that is related to something called "VBox", why does this happen?
A: This error happens occasionally when the computer is powered down without properly shutting down Windows. It may be caused by a power interruption, a spike or someone switching off the system while it is in operation. When this happens the license file may become corrupt and not allow the KurtSPC software to run. To avoid this occurring, it is recommended to use a UPS and shut down the KurtSPC software and operating system before turning off the computer.
